Note:

Approfondimenti:
Banda Black Rio has been one of the most important Brazilian bands. In 1970's it showed to the world that the fusion of jazz and funk combining with samba and gafieira were essential elements to make a difference in the music market. In 2011, Banda Black Rio, broader this concept and brings to its public the 6th album of the band, Super Nova Samba Funk. It is an audacious album that brings the bases of the original formation and modernized it with a variety of other elements. It is produced by William Magalhaes, son of Oberdan Magalhaes - leader of the first band format. William has been the man who has lightened the flame of the band for over a decade. In the 1970's when BBR first came up, the band had a clear philosophy; having samba with funk groove as the bases; great metal arrangements and mixing all with different Brazilian rhythms. Since then, BBR has been a great reference in the world of music; known artists such Mos Def and Incognito have recorded its songs. BBR has had different formations and great musicians have respectfully participated on its continuity. In 2011, BBR appears with Super Nova Samba Funk Samba showing to its public that the original concept is still alive. It has been modernized and has counted on important icons of the world black music. It comes to the market as an explosion of a super nova star.
